We have created a luxury 3 (or 4) course menu for you to enjoy in celebration of Burns night. Our limited edition luxury box pays homage to Scotland's greatest poet - Robert Burns, and features some of the best in Scottish produce.

Prepared by Masterchef finalist Dean Banks and his team at HAAR Restaurant. Utterly delicious fine-dining food to be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.

Our luxury boxes serve 2 people typically.



Course 1 - Lunun Gin Cured Loch Etive Trout, Seaweed, Pickles & Rye Bread

 

Beautifully refreshing Loch Etive Trout cured in our very own Lunun Gin sprinkled with seaweed for that umami boost that cuts through the beautifully acidic pickles and savoury rye bread.

 

Course 2 Venison & Haggis Wellington, Mustard Mash, Neep Slaw, Whisky Jus

Our team has served up a luxury version of Haggis, Neeps & Tatties with this showstopping main. Minick's of St Andrew's famous haggis with a beautiful cut of Scottish venison with our not-so-secret wellington recipe which has appeared on several of our special luxury boxes and has been one of our best sellers. You can't have 'haggis' with out 'neeps and tatties. therefore we have created a delicious slaw and a deliciously more-ish mustard mash. 


Course 3 -  White Chocolate Cranachan Ganache  

Our twist on a Scots favorite. We have tried to indulge in richness even further with  a creamy white chocolate ganache. 


Optional Extra Course - Dean's Signature Dish of St Andrews Bay Lobster & Mirin Butter Sauce

The piece de resistance, kings of the sea. Our delicious lobsters are handpicked and prepared by Dean and his team. We only used local fishermen and boats for our amazing seafood. We always strive to keep the travel of our food to a minimum, ensuring that our work with nearby suppliers gives our customers a freshness that they can taste every time.

Lunun Gin Cured Trout, Seaweed Creme Fraiche, Rye Bread,

Dill Pickle Cucumber & Capers


Cured Trout : Trout (fish), sea salt, sugar, wakame, chives, Gin (alcohol)

Seaweed Crème Fraiche : Milk, wakame.

Pickled cucumber: rice wine vinegar(sulphites), water, sugar, sea salt, ginger, coriander seeds, wakame, cucumber, Dill – Capers : Capers, water, vinegar, salt

Native Dressed Lobster with Mirin Butter

Dressed Lobsterlobster (crustaceans), unsalted butter (milk).

Mirin Butter - unsalted butter (milk), chives, dill, tarragon, rice wine vinegar(sulphites), dry wakame, sea salt, mirin : glucose syrup, water, spirit vinegar(sulphites), fermented rice alcohol(sulphites), sugar, acidity regulator: citric acid, cane molasses.


Venison & Haggis Wellington, Mustard mash, Turnup Slaw, Whisky and cream jus

 Puff Pastry - Wheat flour, (gluten, yeast extract), concentrated butter (lactose, colour: beta carotene), vegetable oils (rapeseed), water, wheat starch (gluten), lemon juice, salt, alcohol (evaporates during baking), vegetable & fruit concentrates (apple, carrot, lemon), natural flavour (contains milk)

Venison Fillet – Venison

Haggis – Lamb Liver (20%), Lamb Lungs (20%), Water, Oatmeal (Gluten), Beef Fat, Onion, Salt, Spices.

pasteurised egg yolks : Egg yolk originated from chicken eggs, food acid (E330), preservative (E202), water. – salt

Steak seasoning – fennel seeds, black peppercorn, coriander seeds, Szechuan pepper, Maldon sea salt, fine sea salt.

Raspberry and White Chocolate Cranachan, Ginger Toasted Oats

 White Chocolate Ganache – White chocolate : Sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, emulsifier: soy (soya) lecithin, natural vanilla flavour- Milk (milk), double cream (milk), lemon juice, gelatine (pork)
