Charles Heidsieck Rosé Reserve Champagne
A deliciously fresh rosé Champagne that perfectly expresses the complexity of the Charles Heidsieck style.
75cl | 12% ABV | Champagne, France
Tasting Notes
Coral-like in appearance, with subtle orange reflections reminiscent of antique roses. Freshly picked strawberry aromas become more intense, with home-made strawberry jam and blood peach alongside rich, warm notes of gingerbread and cinnamon. The palate is vivacious and full of red fruit, with generous floral notes. A silky-rich texture leads to a long, balanced finish.
The Producer
Charles Heidsieck is the smallest of the Grandes Marques and one of the most admired Champagne houses. Its winemaking team has been named Sparkling Winemaker of the Year at the International Wine Challenge 16 times.
The Vineyards
Fruit comes from top villages including Riceys, Ambonnay and Ay.
In the Winery
The blend includes 20% red and white reserve wines, and 5–6% of the Pinot Noir is vinified as red wine. It is aged for three years before disgorging.
